Calendar View

Calendar View lays your due dates across a month or week grid, so you can see what's due at a glance and click any day to add a task for it.

Calendar View lays due dates across a month or week grid.

What it does

Calendar View lays tasks with a due date across a month or week grid, so what's due when is visible at a glance instead of buried in a list. Switch between a full month and a single week with the toggle at the top of the view. Each day shows up to three tasks as colored pills, tinted to match their status.

Who needs it

Anyone planning around dates rather than status — content calendars, deadline-heavy work, or simply wanting to see what's due this week. Useful any time filtering a list by due date would be slower than just looking at a calendar.

Why use it

Due dates read naturally on a calendar in a way they never do in a list of rows. Clicking straight into an empty day to create a task beats opening a new-task form and filling in a date field by hand.

How it works

Calendar is one of six interchangeable lenses on the same tasks — every task with a due date shows up here exactly as it does in List, Board or Table; nothing about the underlying task changes by viewing it this way.

Month view (the default) shows a standard 7-column grid with up to three tasks per day as colored pills, tinted to match that task's status; a day with more shows a "+N more" count. Week view switches to seven wider day columns and lists every task due that day in full.

Use the arrows to move a month (or week) at a time, or the Today button to jump back to the current date. Today's date is highlighted.

Click a task's pill to open its full detail panel. Click anywhere on an empty day to create a new task due that date — it's added to the list immediately with that due date set, ready to rename. Rescheduling an existing task is done from the task itself (open it and change the due date, or drag its bar in Gantt View) rather than by dragging it to a different day on the calendar.
